Households in China celebrated the Lantern Festival with singing and dancing. Themed “Forge Ahead Towards the Future”, MOSO Power Year of the Rabbit Lantern Festival 2023 & Commendation Ceremony came to a successful conclusion on February 5, 2023, or the 15th of the first lunar month — the day of the Lantern Festival.
Gu Yongde, founder and president of MOSO Power, Nie Feng, executive vice president of MOSO Power and general manager of LED BU, gathered at the festival to mark the first full moon of the Year of the Rabbit, as well as share the achievements of MOSO with guests and employees. Also present were Chu Changzheng, vice president and CFO of MOSO Power, Pan Xiaoping, vice president of MOSO Power and general manager of MOSO New Energy, Song Chengzhan, vice president of MOSO Power and secretary of the board of directors, and Li Li, senior director of human resources.
With a festive and lively atmosphere, the 2023 MOSO Lantern Festival highlighted the theme of happiness and confidence, progress and hard work. The ceremony commended outstanding employees, and also saw lottery drawing, games, and various forms of artistic performances being held. This year’s Lantern Festival is MOSO’s first large-scale celebration after the pandemic, which resulted in the cancellation of the festival for two years. It represents a “carnival” for all MOSO employees.
Message from the President
The ceremony kicked off with attendees standing for the national anthem.
Delivering his speech, Gu extended his greetings to all MOSO employees on behalf of the company. He expressed his appreciation to everyone who cared about and supported the development of MOSO. “I wish everyone a prosperous New Year, good wealth and great success!”
Gu pointed out that MOSO Power relied on state-owned assets, guidance from Jinan Industrial Development Technology Group’s management and leadership of the company’s board of directors to seize growth opportunities under China’s Belt and Road Initiative, dual circulation strategy, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and dual carbon goals. The company built a new development pattern focusing on its main business, while taking advantage of scientific and technological innovation to achieve its goals of business expansion, innovation breakthroughs, quality and efficiency improvements, and progress in the company’s operations. This laid a solid foundation for achieving its strategic goals in the next three years.
The year 2023 represents the first year of implementing the ethos of the 20th CPC National Congress, and also the year of MOSO Power’s three-year plan to seize opportunities and accelerate high-quality development. Guided by Jinan Industrial Development Technology Group’s development plan, MOSO Power will continue to implement its “Innovative Technology, Product is King” strategy, and focus on its annual goals and global expansion of LED use in 2023. The company will also prioritize strengthening the use of SPS, optimizing its procurement system, proper delegation of various tasks and formulate solutions to ensure the completion of this year’s objectives.
Advanced Recognition
During the ceremony, a large number of teams and individuals were commended for their dedication to the company in 2022. MOSO Power congratulated the individuals for their hard work and excellence. It’s hoped that they will continue to forge ahead, cherish their accomplishments and achieve greater success, and all MOSO employees would regard them as role models, perform their duties with commitment, strive for excellence, learn from outstanding colleagues and contribute to the company’s growth.

Looking back, achievements are not accomplished easily. Looking ahead, there will be opportunities, risks, difficulties and hopes.
The New Year marks a new starting point. Under the strong leadership of the management team, all MOSO employees will seize opportunities, take advantage of the growth momentum, face challenges with courage, stay focused on the goals, join forces to stride forward in the new journey full of glory and dreams, march forward to achieve the mission of “becoming the world’s top power supply manufacturer”, and write a new chapter of MOSO’s success together!
